The Parkinson's Disease Support Group ismade up of
many individuals coping withthe
peculiarities of Parkinson's, both aspatients and caregivers. Our diverse
group's members are at various stages of
progression in Parkinson's, Several have had DBS
(Deep Brain Stimulation),and others are using a variety of
medications,
therapies,
exercise, andalternative treatments. All of us are willing to
| share our experiences in an effort tosupport each other in dealing with Parkinson's.

The tulip
logo that appears on these pages was created by Karen Painter,
a PWP from
the state of Washington. A grassroots movement is
underway to
have this design become the official logo for Parkinson's, just as
the pink ribbon
is the recognized symbol for breast cancer.
